Charline Delval

Charline DELVAL has been a lawyer at the Brussels Bar since October 2022. Holding a master's degree in public and international law obtained with the highest distinction from the Free University of Brussels, she completed her training with a master's in international law (LL.M.) at the University of Berkeley (California).

Guided by her deep interest in human rights and the realities faced by people in situations of mobility, she has naturally turned to immigration law, private international family law and Belgian nationality law. She has a particular interest in issues related to the recovery and acquisition of nationality, as well as filiation.

Charline supports individuals facing complex migration situations in French and English, putting her expertise at the service of their journey with humanity, legal rigour, and commitment. She places great importance on listening and clarity in her relationship with clients. Each case is unique, and she takes the time to develop a personalized strategy, while ensuring that everyone understands the stakes of their own situation.

Sensitive to the power of language and argumentation, she won the award for the best legal consultation in the context of the competition of former presidents of the Conference of the Young Bar of Brussels. The topic mixed questions of filiation, private international law, co-maternity, and surrogacy. She participated in the eloquence competitions “LeJeune & Janson” and “J'Accuse” of the Conference.
