Sara ZAANANI

Holder of a Master's degree in public and international law, from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, obtained with distinction, she has been registered with the Brussels Bar since 2021.

A dual national, she has naturally specialised in legal situations involving a foreign element. Her background is rooted in the defence of fundamental rights and supporting individuals facing transnational legal realities, integrating an approach attentive to intersectional issues.

Before her registration with the bar, her career was enriched by several experiences, notably with Myria, the Federal Migration Centre and the Plateforme citoyenne de soutien aux réfugiés. She is currently a member of the foreign commission of the Ligue des Droits Humains.

Her main areas of activity are immigration law, family private international law and nationality law with a particular focus on economic immigration, Belgian nationality, parentage and surrogacy.

In parallel to her work as a lawyer, she has been an assistant at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and is co-author of the work L'immigration économique en Belgique (Anthémis, April 2025).

She advises and assists her clients in French and in English, combining legal requirements, active listening and personalised support.
